Because it’s a television show and they want to keep running the show with twists and surprises instead of having people read the books and already know what’s going to happen. I think it’s good that they’re not going with the same outcomes as the books because it keeps people interested. Even with the upcoming reveal of A, it’ll just open the show up for more mysteries.
